Thanks a lot for driving this release. However, I noticed that our tarball is
missing the LICENSE and NOTICE files. I believe this is something we need to
address.

Thank you to the comments so far -- it seems like there is a growing
consensus that breaking this code into its own repository would be a good
idea
One question I wanted to highlight on the broader list what to name the new
repository. We have a few options on the ticket:
* apache/arrow-rs-object
The exact location has been updated in the doc. Looking forward to seeing
some of you tomorrow.
