Yes you're right both tools share the same objectives. There are a lot differences between Gradle and EasyAnt though. Gradle *can use* ant + ivy whereas easyant is *based over* ant + ivy. On the technial part: Gradle provides a rich API to do a lot of things. You can do amazing stuff in a few lin
