Checksums and hashes
I ran the Groovy build (has several hundred tests involving Ivy)
against the staging repo.
Maybe a personal preference, but I like having the KEYS file
referenced in the VOTE email; but not s

Check of differences in git between tags rel/2.5.2 and 2.5.3

Downloaded the apache-ivy-2.5.3-bin.zip from the dist location. Checked
the NOTICE. Ran an old Ivy project using JDK 8. No issues encountered.

Many thanks for cutting the release. It may become difficult to muster
enough votes during the holiday season, though.
I've checked the legal ASF requirements and compared the source zip to
the git tag, all looks good.
