Getting started contributing to Ant - Confused

Sorry if this is a duplicate Isn't there a FAQ for getting started contributing to Ant? The only thing I've seen is how to get the source from CVS (which I've done), but I'm feeling a little stupid here. For example: 1) When I do a build of Ant from the source, I get a load of Manifest only

Copy, Mapper and the Composite and Chained Mappers

I noticed that Ant 1.6.x has added composite mapper and chained mapper options as implementations of the FileNameMapper. I can't see how to use these with the copy task since copy seems to only support the "mapper" nested element and the latter doesn't list "composite" and "chained" as appropriate
