This is why I don't want to use it. The starTeam API has a method to make an OLEDate (which it requires) out of a java.util.Date, and that's all I need. All I'm saying is that Ant should do the parsing in java, and only convert the result to an OLEDate right before it passes it to the Starteam AP

Actually, what about the TSTAMP formats? These are probably the most common in Ant. I think what I will do is accept either "MMdd hhmm" or "MMdd" unless user specifies something else. It's not much harder to do this than to enforce one person's idea of the "right way". -Original
