I have the same problem. Mouse flickering on two of my three screens.
I have two video-cards, both ATI HD6770 (Not in cross-fire).
One card is only connected to one monitor, the other is connected with two
monitors.

hardware combination doesn't work out of the box with wayland it should
be disabled automatically for this hardware after installation or
upgrade.

I'm running 15.04 r2. Initially, the screen locked nicely, but I turned
that off for a while (for USB access etc). Now it's turned back on
again, and it seems not to lock automatically anymore. Due to battery
consumption this is a pretty annoying bug.

Either a bug in plymouth, or libdrm. Thanks for finally giving me data
to back up my suspicion that renaming was a bad idea.
There are 2 possible paths forward:
- Plymouth always using the 'dumb' api, if available. This will probably need a
new version of plymouth, however, and only has been the

extra-53 as an alternative. This makes it impossible to install
