Still gets me in Xubuntu with Thunderbird 17.0.2. Sometimes it connects
to YahooMail (via Imap), sometimes it doesnt!

Initially, I had to reset the sound card manually from 'HDMI' to
'analogue' to get sound working, but then the hotkeys no longer managed

No, the HDMI was not plugged in -- nor ever has been. I'm using a
laptop and the sound output should have been the built-in audio. After
I upgraded the system, it once (and only once) wanted to run all the
output through the HDMI, resulting in no audio at all. Aft

As the description says, I have just updated to 12.04, Precise Xubuntu
and when I fire up Gimp, the 'toolbox' and 'layers' dialogues are always
available on all workspaces.

cannot connect to the mobile internet.
Expected behaviour: plug in (Nokia) mobile phone -- select 'pc suite'
as connection type. Click network manager in task-bar. Select mobile

I think I have the same bug.
I use Xubuntu 19.10.
When the screen locks, mouse and keyboard events will lake me to the
unlock screen. Password is accepted, but screen never shows the
desktop. I can log out and log in again to restore the desktop, but of
course this closes all applications.
