VERY likely a gfx-driver problem, i'm using the open-source radeon
driver.

my computer randomly freezes after i've updated from ubuntu 13.10 to
14.04.
it happens mostly when i've cold-booted between ~5 minutes and 5 hours
runtime.
no input seems to work any more, i only can press reset. apport doesn't
recognize the crash it seems. once it happened
still happens with linux-image-3.13.0-29-generic :-(

the crash without interaction seems to be fixed, didn't test if
qvdpautest still triggers a crash, too.
