Public bug reported: Xubuntu 14.04, when the machine starts up, I don't get a login screen, just a black screen. ctrl-alt-f1 works, and if I stop lightdm $ sudo service lightdm stop nand start gdm $ sudo service gdm start I can login as normal. Things I've tried, without success: - reinstalling l
