Well, that was easy. I indeed can just search for wacom in dconf and change the
"area" key value. This is of course a much nicer workaround than above, it
still works after rebooting. I only used gconf, with which I couldn't find this
key.
The key is in org > gnome > settings-daemon > peripheral
Hi Josh et al. Testing the calibration before your workaround didn't yield
proper results, it was still way off. After entering a reasonable value in
dconf and recalibrating it indeed seems to calibrate my pen instead of touch,
resulting in a nicely calibrated screen.

When I copy something from ubuntu into the clipboard and then I use the
paste function in windows through vinagre, one of my private programs,
crashes. The string is correct

goes for me. I'll see if I can close this bug report... Any mode

I also think this is probably an issue in plymouth because plymouth is

The symptom is always the same: the cursor starts to move choppily, soon
it stops moving at all, keyboard input is ignored although
Ctrl+Alt+PrtSc+REISUB works and is the only option remaining.
It doesn't seem to be connected to running any particular application.

I've tried to use the following Xorg setting in the past days as
suggested elsewhere:

Unfortunately, I've just experienced the same issue even with this
setting in place. I guess I'm barking

I'm getting an error when I attempt to edit a Mobile Broadband
connection in Network Manager. I click on the Mobile Broadband tab of
Network Connections, select the connection and click the Edit... button.
I then get an error message appearing for "Error initialising editor.
