For those on lubuntu 13.04, the issue is still present and the missing
dependencies break the IBus installation altogether. I had to use
g00gle's suggestion in conjunction with reinstalling ibus:
$ sudo apt-get install libappindicator1 python-appindicator python-gconf
python-glade2 python-pexpec
This is still a bug, since it's not the expected behavior. Anthy
shouldn't use the previously selected layout.

Adding "nomodeset" to the 13.10 installer boot options (after the --, or
via the F6 add options method) fixed that install. Haven't tried this

After selecting 'show hidden and backup files' in the view tab of the
preferences menu, hidden and backup files don't appear in the current
window, or even browsing to other windows. If I open a new window, the

Laptop is an Acer Aspire V5-552PG-X809. AMD A10-5757M Processor with
Dual Graphics (Radeon HD 8560M embedded, and Radeon 8750M dedicated).
FGLRX driver was working fantastically prior to upgrade to Ubuntu 14.10.
After upgrade, after login to desktop Unity will not fully load
The smaps reading code is long gone, so this shouldn't be a problem any
more.

This error start occurring for me after the upgrade to xserver-xorg-
video-intel (2:2.99.914-1~exp1ubuntu2), but given the earlier occurence
this might just have been random. Seems to occur randomly while using
the desktop under load.

Seb, this seems to me like cheese itself is simply missing a declared
dependency on gstreamer1.0-clutter. Cheese doesn't work without it, and
installing it fixes the issue.

Sorry for the bother, but are there any plans to get this fix into
upstream on Ubuntu 14.x? This is the one thing holding many of us up
from upgrading and we are getting nervous because of End-of-Updates

I had slow work of standart flashplugin from ubuntu repositories, so I
installed Flash-Aid extension for Firefox. Flash now works good in SD,
but it has inverted colors in HD 720p and don't work in HD 1080p.
