After upgrading to ubuntu 12.04.2 (64bit)from 11.04 I experience the
same problem. The connection which worked under the older ubuntu is not
able to connect anymore. Set up a new one does not solve the problem.
using cifs works with:
sudo mount -t cifs //server /mountpoint -o username=user,domain

When choosing accessibility option in LightDM greeter, the greeter
changes them. But after login, the effect is not present in the Lubuntu
session.

I attached my backtrace here. I have the same issue as described in
comment #14. The result is "No Stack".
Instead a crash repport came up. I attached a screenshot of the XSession

I cannot use Chromium browser. Nor can I open any website, neither
settings etc. I already did a complete removal and deleted my config
files in homefolder, but nothing works.
