Public bug reported:
After updating to Ubuntu 22.10 from 22.04 I can no longer print with
Canon Selphy CP800 using the gutenprint drivers.
This is a regression in one of the packages:
printer-driver-gutenprint_5.3.4.20220624T01008808d602-1_amd64.deb
libgutenprint9_5.3.4.20220624T01008808d602-1_a
I have the same issue on a Dell Venue 7140 with the same card.

Bug originated after doing a 18.04.5 LTS to 20.04.1 LTS upgrade.
The settings from gnome-control-center are not getting applied for
external USB devices.
For a USB touchpad I've spotted this with the following:

Hi,
I've been running without the gpaste extension for a few weeks and gnome-shell
no longer crashes.
So I guess this bug should be reassigned?

This together with #1575354 make openconnect barely usable on Ubuntu

times out. If either of them would be solved it would at least make it
tolerable.

Is support for widevine meant to be re-enabled with the latest build
(53.0.2785.143-0ubuntu0.16.04.1.1254)? If so I'm just reporting that it
is still broken. DRM-enabled video playback doesn't work. I can see the
widevine module in chrome://components, but it's missing in
chrome://plugins.
For me
With the latest chromium build 52.0.2743.116-0ubuntu0.16.04.1.1250 in
xenial, the plugin files from Chrome no longer work. I see that this was
intentional in the changelog. Is there any chance we will see widevine
support again or is it gone for good. What is the reason for this
change?
Thanks.

I have also been affected by this bug after upgrading network-manager

There is a memory leak generating window previews on gnome shell and
since pressing the Super key generates windows previews the memory usage
grows exponentially. For me Gnome Shell eats about 100-150 MB every day
I leave it running.
I tested this both on an Intel graphics machine and on a VM, in
@vanvugt could you try the steps I posted in #46. I can reliably
reproduce this on a clean install of Bionic daily in a VM. No extra
extensions, just opening window previews with Super multiple times (two
windows open).
Thank you.

I am experiencing the same problem on a Dell XPS 9550 with a GTX 960M.

I could not get it to work in the Chromium snap as well.
The module loads fine in the Firefox snap.
I ran the command:

The smartcard works if I launch chromium with:
