If you open an email with an image which doesn't exist it does not time
out and keeps on trying to download this image. I cannot open any other
emails with the preview window. The only way to view other emails is by
opening them in a new window. I am running a dovecot IMAP ser
I have the same problem. After logging I get a blue screen and compiz
crashes. Gpu Nvidia GTX460.

This problem still exists in 12.04.4. I have added a screenshot. When
this happens I am unable to close evolution and I have to use "evolution
--force-shutdown" from the command line to close evolution! It would
have been better if evolution would time out images it cannot load.

Thank you Tuukka. I've had the same problem with lightdm not loading and
had to drop to a shell to start lightdm manually until I found this
solution.

It seems that they fixed the bug. I just moved 450 images from one
folder to another and it was really fast. Also would like to know what
was causing this issue.

Its still an issue in Natty. Just open any samba location in Nautilus
and you won't see the number of files counts next to the folder. If you
do this locally you will see the number of files next to the folder.
