This was working fine with the initial release of Focal Fossa, but has
stopped working since a recent update on my Dell XPS 15.
It's an older model (2014) with 3200x1800 screen. I was using 175%
scaling but now it seems to scale everything to 200%, and the Gnome top
bar is too long so the icons on
In NVidia X Server Settings, I can switch to Intel graphics. When I do
this and reboot, then fractional scaling works correctly. With NVidia
graphics enabled, it does not work correctly.

Ubuntu 17.04, I have a 4K (3840x2160) monitor connected to my computer.
I have set the scaling to 1.5 (System Settings / Displays / Scale for
menu and title bars).
When I walk away from the computer, after a while the screen is locked.
When I unlock it by entering my passwor
It doesn't have anything to do with the lock screen; if I go to System
Settings / Brightness & Lock and set Lock to OFF, then wait 5 minutes
for the screen to turn off, then press a key to wake it up again, then
the scaling is also reset to 1.
