apt-get remove firefox
cd /var/cache/apt/archives
dpkg -i *firefox*18.02*
Then pin Firefox at this version by pasting the following into
/etc/apt/preferences.d/firefox:

Pin: version n=18.0.2
Pin-Priority: 999

This is still an issue and apport-cli is still denying that launchpadlib
is installed (though it is). I can't change my wallpaper and I can't

The problem occurred again today shortly after my Bluetooth mouse lost
its connection and I plugged in a USB mouse to reconnect it. Unsure of
how this could have any effect on graphics, but noting it anyway.
