After suspending and resuming the playback of any music is like fast forward,
meaning that the songs will play faster while leaving out split seconds. Also
the sound recorder does for some reason not work, so i attatch a pretty bad
quality records of this made with my phone

Not sure if the maintainers here are aware of this, but libxft2 has been
misbehaving with emoji for a while. The result is that e.g. st (the
terminal emulator) and gitk crash immediately when trying to render
emoji. Very annoying.

Things that I noticed:
Sometimes the drum sounds on login actually get played but after that the
computer stays mute.
If nothing else this tells me the speakers are working fine, so no hardware
failure here.
When I ran ubuntu-bug on this and it tried to play a test sound I could hear
the speaker
