I purged lightdm and used my computer with gdm, and the problem still happened. I originally had lightdm active and gdm installed. Now that the problem also happens with only gdm, I have purged gdm and am only using lightdm. A couple less concrete observations: - the problem seems to happen mor

Ok, I'm stuck in this mode again. I launched this firefox window from the Terminal using "firefox &", firefox was already running. In this window, the mouse does not work. I had to tab thru all of the links to get to this field. Emacs launched from a Terminal is dumping the G_IS_OBJECT messages
