@everyone- I tested the volume on Nexus 4 today. While on a call, the
volume is now fine at maximum, however the same volume (maximum) is too
soft when switched to speaker phone.

I'm on Nexus 4.
Volume set today is too soft to hear. The same problem occurs for
earpiece. Haven't tested with speaker phone yet.

This was actually tested between two Nexus 4 between myself and another
designer on the team. We tested it on 4 Sept's image.
We both had problems hearing each other.

Thanks for alerting me to the new BIOS version. The UEFI updater said it was
already up to date, but I could manually install the new BIOS version from the
website.
The problem is still present after the update.
New BIOS info: (output of sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s
bios-r
I have not had the use case in question on older versions so I don't know.
If you want me to I can install several older versions of Ubuntu later and see
if the problem occurs in those versions as well.
