Public bug reported:
The network-manager-openvpn-gnome package cannot be installed using
GNOME Software as GNOME Control Center add-on because it is missing the
necessary AppStream metadata.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run GNOME Software.
2. Search for "Control Center" and select "GNOME Control Center
I don't think this is an upstream issue. OpenVPN is available as add-on
in Fedora and there is an AppStream metainfo file in the upstream
repository[1].
