Hi Alberts,
Good work! I was also able to connect and logout multiple times after
restarting xrdp (sudo service xrdp restart).
All the processes end properly and the rdp window closes.
Now if we can just figure out what is different after restarting xrdp
compared to how it is after system boot..
Note also: problem comes back after system boot until you restart xrdp
again.

Do note, nautilus > pictures > select wallpaper once or twice or three
times wallpaper displays correctly as it does on 14.10, 14.04, etc.
I made a command line version which works sometimes:

Making chromium work with an outside widevine seems straightforward enough.

Happens to me too. Minutes after booting. I found a workaround though ( so at
least the laptop is usable again) install ubuntu-tweak . And use it to make the
font smaller. 0.9 restores some of the characters and 0.8 size restores them

the nvidia driver. Also, to disable gpu-manager, there's no need to
