I Use Ubuntu since Heron. Anyway, after some updates today, and a couple
of restarts, everything works fine. Don't understand the problem, but

It doesn't really contain any python2 code itself. It only uses python2
in one place -- to test if the duplicity backends are supported. Since
those backends are written in python2, we're blocked on duplicity itself
being ported.

you're right, it had a regression, it's still not fixed. looks like the
only fix doable is to drop abs events from the driver and make the
touchpad relative only. This requires re-adjusting the pointer
acceleration though.

i have to tell you that i only met recently that 'output devices' issue
(about 2 months back max), even with the actual ac97 bios setting (as i
know that bios is too old and dont propose the hda choice, but i will
glance at it more closely again, and its the latest
