I just tested it off a xubuntu 14.04 image, and it works as intended
with blueman, its clearly a bluez issue. If i use blueman under ubuntu
without removing bluez, things get confused, but at least it recognizes

In my 14.04 bluez seems to be connecting ok. My headset connects with headset
profile but I don't have audio devices to actually direct streams to the
headset. This appears pulseaudio related. Listing the modules with "pactl list"
I cannot find "bluetooth-device" and only my default audio sink.

The problem had already been filed upstream (bug 580055,
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=580055 ). It is caused by the
program not handling correctly not having enough sudokus to print.
An ugly work-around:
1) Run dconf-editor.
You are probably running in software rendering mode which uses your CPU
for the rendering and there really isn't anything we can do about that.
Please do an "apport-collect 1311262" just to make sure.

In Window mode, it I resize the window while the OSD is shown, it is rescaled
