the first page of certain PDF files. I can open the files in Adobe Reader
XI under Windows 7 Enterprise. In this manner I can confirm that the

On my original system where I found this bug, the behaviour was still
consistent with Vimium.
However, I did recenty a fresh install of Lubuntu 13.10 and update to
latest version of Chromium in the repos, and installed Vimium and on
that machine (with a cheaper CPU) I do not have any high CPU usag

It's improved, but still present. It's most obvious when moving the mouse

When I connect the external monitor using an Apple VGA display port adapter

I've tried i3 here and Onboard doesn't seem to bother. When Window
->force-to-top is off it even gets tiled, but I can still type with all
devices. The fact that you can type with a mouse would speak against i3
being an issue too.

This affects me as well. Can importance be raised? This makes using
Empathy for office communications a major PITA. Im often missing
messages from my coworkers. It was working fine when I was on 12.04

as well - I resize the Gedit window to minimal width and on save the
window gets a bit wider.
