I am running Xubuntu 11.10 and lightdm 1.0.6-0ubuntu1.6 and no Unity-
greeter.
I have 4 of these files:

I would have thought that if it is using an alternative xserver it is
not Ubuntu anymore? At least until Wayland hits Ubuntu. Are you
running Ubuntu on the client or the server? What exactly is your usage
case?

NM+dnsmasq" title hints that the problem is caused by the dnsmasq
package, i.e. that it should be crippled and not listen on "lo" by
default in order to coexist with the local resolver implementation.

Sorry this happens as well when i am booting un the Laptop, but maybe he flash
player is to blame partly but when i am not using the
internet and still gets slow ???, does it have to do with my ATI MOBILITY
Radeon X1400 Graphics card or something else ???
