Status in “nautilus” package
The libreoffice 'start screen' fails to build properly on my system also
(a fresh 10.10 install, upgraded to 11.04 and then to 11.10). Not a huge
problem, but unsightly and annoying. I was going to write a 'bug report'
on this myself. Mr Van Hoorde has saved me a job.

I looked in my log and could not find anything like the error described.
I can look at a more recent log and check, but it doesn't look like the
same thing...

Hi,
Shat server is the remote end ? If it is an exchange 2010,
please also check which service pack is installed.
How do you access the server ? IMAP ?
I am currently trying to find out if an update to exchange2010sp6
broke the search in my case.
Yours,
Steffen

Thanks. Okay, I think I have copied the description to a bug at
libreoffice, although it got submitted before I'd cleaned it up and I
can't edit it. Here's the upstream bug:

@Domingos86: OK, good to know, thanks. Anyone out there having this
disappearing menu problem based on a fresh (not upgraded) install of
Oneiric (11.10)?

I've always had this problem on fresh installs. I'm have a bad habit of
testing new distros every now and then ;) And for the last few releases
of Ubuntu fresh, always the same problem. Thing is that is very random
sometimes after a reboot it will work for a while, then start
disappearing and so on
