I have the same errors as Aliaksei. Could not connect to my vpn as well.
I tried disabling the firewall using firestarter, and it connects for a
while (10 seconds maybe?), but disconnects again. But during the time my
pc is connected to the vpn, I still have no internet access.

wlan0 is up everytime during connecting. I observed this type of behavior on a

There is no evidence of a bug here yet. You're getting logs reporting
that the connecton was terminated because of a short read on GRE
packets, and timeouts. I'd suggest looking at whether the underlying
connections are properly established first -- for instance, wlan0
appears to be getting turned
