Confirming that this is still happening with LibreOffice 3.4.4 OOO340m1 (Build:402) under Ubuntu 11.10. The fix of installing openoffice.org- base still works. I agree, I'm also sad to see that nothing seems to have happened in 10 months. Maybe it should just be set as a dependency until the bug
