Posting again to say "It's bck." Cursor went tiny in the middle
of writing an email in gmail.
Hopefully just a quirk of applying a recent update. Will reboot and

computer mid upgrade from 20.04 -> 22.04 so I had to choose to either
waste time by reinstalling and resetting all settings I made from
memory, or reinstall the OS to a newer version with 22.10 a little more
than a month away. Chromium seems to retain the correct cursor size
where Firefox does not.
