After a reboot, I now get:

Thanks for the tip, but I use the machine mainly at home and would find
internal speakers much more convenient. On a different thread, there's
talk of downloading UCM files to fix this (specifically UCM-
master/bytcr5645 and chtrt5645), but no details of where from. Perhaps
it's obvious to Ubuntu p
For what it's worth: An easy solution for audio is a bluetooth headset.
Works great under 18.04. I'd also like to get the main speakers working,
but I suspect the passengers next to me on the plane are happier with
the headset-only arrangement.

down for 3 years or so (this one is date 2016-03-24), then ask the

I just installed Ubuntu Mate 16.04 and kernel 4.12, it gives me the best
results so far:
- Internal audio: no sound, detected as bytcht-nocodec 1 ouput/1 input
- HDMI audio: works fine, tested with chrome and rhythmbox
- HDMI video: works fine
- Touchscreen: simple touch only, for example: on web
I never got any sound out of it so far, but for the record, With Manjaro
Linux and kernel 4.14 and 4.15, the sound card is recognized along with
its HDMI outputs.
Although I haven't plugged anything on the HDMI port, from my readings I
expect that it should work.
However the internal speakers sti

Camera and Sound Card Don´t work. I tried it in Linux Mint, Arch Linux and
Debian and still nothing
OS: Elementary OS Loki, based on ubuntu 16.04, witch is based on debian.
