Screen Lock shows wrong wallpa
Hey there,
I wanted to spend some time on this bug again. I think I can also add some more
information here.
I am now under the impression that the wallpaper stays the way I want it to
be, as far as unity-greeter is concerned.
However(!!), my screen seems to suffer from something like a doubl
I removed this line but it gets rewritten again after my next login.
I also have to log in twice each time and locking the screen via super-l
leaves me with a locked and black (my background color) screen without a
password prompt..

AccountsService file:
Background=/usr/share/xfce4/backdrops/xubuntu-wallpaper.png
Lightdm uses this value as user's background at login screen. But
AccountsService do not support color as "Background" value.
When you change your background to black color the old value is not updated.

I still have it installed, that it I never uninstalled it. But I did
not expect the background to change since it didn't change before. This
is new since the update, and therefore I consider it a bug.
Uninstalling XFCE would probably be a workaround, however I want to keep

Well, in that case you installed quite a few XFCE related packages,
including some package with that background file. Are you sure you
uninstalled all those packages? If not, what makes you think you found a
bug?
I installed Xubuntu as a test on my Ubuntu machine a few months ago.
Afterwards there
Yes, I did install it under 13.10 I suppose. However, I did not use it
very long and did not see the XFCE screen again when I was switching
back to unity. The behaviour described aboved started to occur after the
upgrade to 14.04.1.
