I registered this bug so long ago that I gave up on it and forgot about
it.
This may help a little - on a fresh clean install, before you ever open
Nautilus, go into dconf-editor and go to org/gnome/desktop/thumbnailers
and tick the box for Disable All. Nautilus will still crash when
copying mult
I have the same experience as 'bluebugblazin (openevan)': copying a
number of files (in my case: 100 - 1000 jpg pictures from an sd-card to
one of my HDDs (NTFS formatted)) initially works OK, but after some time
(a certain number of GBs transferred??) not only nautilus freezes, but
the whole syste
I experience a similar problem when copying a large number of files
(approx 700Gb) across HDD - external and internal, all NTFS formatted.
Files are selected, dragged and dropped and copying starts normally.
After running for some time (this varies considerably during different
copying operations),
