That's because the bug is almost a year old!
I no longer use Ubuntu but instead Mac OS X which works very good, I can
really recommend it to everyone struggling with Ubuntu-bugs.

Thomas N, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

Workaround: Go to Settings > Display and built-in, disable, apply,
enable = Icons on primary display and built-in is just extra.
