No I don't get the issue any more because removed eog a few weeks ago.

I already sent logs as requested after the last crash.
I tested a number of other image viewers and was not able to trigger a
crash with them.
But crash happened consistently with eog as described.
So prob
the freezes are not likely to eog, whatever an image viewer does the
system should handle it fine, it seems like a bug in the drivers and
having the logs would still be useful if you feel like investigating a
bit more the issue

I have since removed eog because of repeated freezes.

the log collected doesn't have lot of useful details. is the issue still
happening to you? how do you trigger it, only with eog?
if that happens again, could you add your /var/log/
