In fact, I can't reproduce it exactly this way 100% reliably. Sometimes it sticks around, usually it doesn't. Trying again just now, but logging out instead of rebooting, it stayed, but the System Settings show that there is no shortcut for Maximize Vertically (but the shortcut does work). Reboo
