Disabling Compiz has no effect in stopping this issue as well.

X freezes solid on Fluxbox, Gnome, KDE, XFCE ..ETC
It does not leave any kind of Error Logs and I have no clue as to why. I
have tried both 32bit and 64bit versions of the 14.04 version of the OS.
