Can't select text using mouse

I see the same thing but have noticed that it is related to time: try
making very fast selections with the mouse and it works; take normal
time and the selection underway drops.
Another work around if you want to select a whole word or string of
whole words: double click first word and hold button
The version of libreoffice now in proposed 1:3.6.1~rc2-1ubuntu3 does not
display the crash.
