Similar ERROR in /var/log/syslog for me on Ubuntu 20.10 with gnome-shell
3.38.1-1ubuntu1.1. Similar to comment #9 I have firefox with many tabs
and dissenter (brave fork) with many tabs open.

Maybe if helpful to someone else quickest way for me to work around it
is kill the dnsmasq process. When it restarts itself DNS over VPN is
working.

Not sure if it fix later versions but it worked for me in 12.10. Needs
to be fixed upstream but at least this fix removes some frustration...

In Gnome when I right click on an ISO and Open with Brasero to burn I
noticed that even with a successfully burn there was always a process
left running. So next time you try to Right Click Burn nothing will
happen. This was true for the last couple versions of Ubuntu. Alth
This issue is still happening in 12.04. It is slightly worse than just
hitting cancel and the world is ok again. Yes the burn is successful
but hitting cancel and ejecting manually does not finish the brasero
process for me. Then on my next burn nothing happens. Brasero just
plain does not star
