"recently used folders". Now, this item has also vanished in Firefox on
Ubuntu 16.04.

Keyboard layout changing randomly
This effect is also present in 14.04. It switches to english layout
randomly. BUT, why could it switch to english, when there is no english
layout present. I deleted the english layout, when I installed the
german layout. (i got the backslash sign, when I pressed + key)

Same effect here with 6100 onboard graphics. Mouse is moving, but I
cannot click anything. Keyboard input is without effect, i.e. I cannot
canche to console with Ctrl+Alt+F1.

Yesterday's upgrade from 10.04.4 to 12.04.1 brought me ramdom freezes.

System does not powe
I have this problem, too, but on a ubuntu SERVER system. Today I
upgraded from 10.04 to 12.04 and my machine does not power off most of
the times. It's frustrating. With 10.04, there were no problems. I used
this machine for nightly archiving data and for nightly backups of my
server, with WOL enab
I think Ubuntu was NOT tested on a system with 2 NICs. I commented out
thes sleep lines and it will boot without issues. My
/etc/network/interfaces contains eth0 and eth1 and these static
interface definition will remain there, since I use NIS. Former Ubuntu
releases had no problem with this config
