When opening a Flatpak app, it opens as usual, but even when it's
already open, the loading circle in the top panel doesn't dissapear
until some time (~10 sec). As a side effect, the app takes long time to
show up in the dock.
If I open the app via `flatpak run app` in termin
#x27;s the
argv[0] of the offending process, the binary for which is
/usr/lib/cups/filter/pdftoraster).

@Till, thanks for the heads-up. pdftoraster is the one that came installed
automatically, I didn't install anything manually.

I was also getting random freeze (multiple times a day), and using the
ahci.mobile_lpm_policy=0 appears to solve the issue as well (didn't try another
value).
BTW, I am using Debian (kernel 4.19.0-5-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.37-3
(2019-05-15))

OK, thanks Christopher for the quick reply.
Since the version of LibreOffice embeded in Quetzal is 3.6, I just
managed to upgrade LO to this latest version via the ppa:libreoffice/ppa
and could then open this file without trouble.

This bug also affects 12.04 (x86 + x64) version of Ubuntu. I can't find the
authentication option as I did in Ubuntu 11.04, for example.
The dconf-editor workaround may work (modifying env var as well), but it's not
satisfying as everybody can read the password.
