Some Update from dual boot laptop with Win10 and Gentoo, but I think it is relevant. Some of folks were referring to broken sound card, this happen to me as well. The card was not available on Linux neither on Win10. Even after disabling/re-enabling in bios didn't help. I started thinking it is

Some interesting update. The card worked for last 5 months without issue on Windows 10, and worked under Gentoo(I installed gentoo 1 week ago) until I started plugin-in the headphones. It worked like this about 5x times and then the sound stopped working at all. The device was visible, but unusabl
