After upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04, my 16GB laptop suffered from lack of memory.
I upgraded to 48GB (!), and the memory still continues to fill.
After a few days, with no program started, 12GB is taken. Gnome-shell alone is

I seem to have a similar issue with my HP ENVY 5544.
After removing ippusbxd and stopping the related service, my printer still does
not print.
Dmesg shows this every time I press the test page button in either HP tools or
Printers (GNOME GUI):

Since x11 session works perfectly with ryzen renoir gpu, nvidia driver
isnt really needed for the gpu to access external monit
in the current setup without nvidia driver, x11 session works perfectly
with the external monitors.
when I use pop-os, nvidia driver was installed but renoir integrated gpu
or hybrid mode doesnt work at all. but nvidia mode works with x11.

Snap seems to remap it to /tmp/snap.chromium/tmp/.
Chromedriver is allow to write to it, and the download actually works.
The problem is that /tmp/snap.chromium have 700 as permission, so only root can

I had this issue with an internal FHD screen on a Dell laptop with Nvidia
MX150/ intel 620 using Nvidia driver 440 and an external 4k screen on HDMI.
When I switched to the Nouveau driver it worked as expected with the external
monitor at 150% and the laptop at 100%.

I have the same problem on both ubuntu 16.04 and 18.10.
The problem appeared after removing a logical partition from and extended.

I went through steps 1 through 3, but even after applying the workaround
from 994921 (commenting out the line of code), rebooting, and
replicating the bug no .crash file was generated. I was lucky enough to
have the screen stay uncorrupted during the lag phase of the bug and I

Both during and after installation (meaning while running the USB iso
and booting from HDD after) ubuntu will rapidly become unresponsive and
eventually hang when my 4k monitor is plugged in. I have 2 monitors, a
1920x1080, and a 4k. Everything works absolutely perfectly if I
printer options button into the print dialog.

@vanvugt Hmm OK, now I'm starting to doubt myself again. It might still
be messed up, but when I move my fingers right, that means that content
to the left of the view should move to the right, correct? And the
scrollbar should move to the left? Because that's not happening, I
