I have this same bug but only in wayland. No issues in x.org. wondering
if it's a chrome wayland bug and needs to be investigated by google.

this has to be done before sunset.
if you're using night light and you move the setting to manual, and then
move the start time to before the time is now, you will see night light
turned on. then go back to the sunset to sunrise setting, the night
My experience is that synaptic is very very slow, it does come back up
after a while. Once onboard is closed, then synaptic is back to
normal. I did notice that my cpu on a dual core was 100% on one
processor.
