The crash is always initiated with loss of wireless network. Then I
cannot access any network controls from the desktop. I can start the
gnome-control-center and turn OFF and then ON the wireless to reconnect
to the network. After doing this step the gnome-control-center crash

I get 2-3 apport-gpu-error-intel.py crashes per week. Every time it freezes the
desktop but mouse can be moved. I have to restart computer using power button.
Now keyboard response. I can log into the computer remotely and do a lighdm
restart. But I can not open any graphic
I have updated xserver-xorg-video-intel package in the precise-proposed.
Let me know if I have to do anything to test the fix. I will use my
notebook as usual.

When I tried to wake up my ASUS U46E laptop running Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS,
X crashed and showed blank screen with the active mouse pointer after
suspend. Only way to recover is to do alt+ctrl+f1 and restart the
lightdm by
rakitha$ sudo service lightdm restart
