I am having this issue with Kubuntu 14.04 and the latest supported Linux kernel as of april 2016: $ uname -rvi 4.2.0-35-generic #40~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 18 16:37:35 UTC 2016 x86_64 Only there were no multiple instances of gvfsd. Killing all gvfsd processes does not help. This Kubuntu wa
