I too have this issue. I just upgraded from 18.04 LTS to 19.10 and
Nautilus starts fine, finishes the check, but I cannot initiate any file
commands like copy, move or delete. Nautilus doesn't respond and GNOME

growisofs priority t
As I've written on the Brasero bug
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=655601) it clearly started
with Ubuntu 11.04 and it's still here on 11.10, and even with Fedora 16.
I hope someone will have a look, because it happens to everyone using
default settings!
