I agree with dimovnike. LibreOffice Writer and Calc will not open when double clicking a file. Also I have disabled the global menu using Unsettings and then "sudo apt-get remove thunderbird-globalmenu". Only LibreOffice now shows global menu and cannot seem to disable it. Using 13.04 and LO 4. 64
