Evince printed pdfs shifted by about 2cm up - such that the Headline cant be
read.
I played around with the settings and now evince just prints entirely black
pages.
I switched to okular which works.
The problem is still occuring on the OfficeJet 6500. The printout is
shifted to the top of the paper if the margin is small sometimes a part
of the page is missing. It happens with any printed pdf from evince. I
do not know if it affects also other pdf viewers like acrobat or other
programs like
I am also affected by the bug. Any permanent workaround or solution
would be much appreciated.
Regarding the gnome-tweak-tool : what is the exact name of the option in
the typing panel. I can not locate anything that seems helpful.

Just want to mention that the "problem" still exists (Ubuntu precise +
gnome 3). I'm using QWERTZ (on my laptop built in keyboard) and QUERTY
on my english keyboard which I prefer for programming.

the account preferences dialog.
I roughly checked the file. I found a similar message as I get from
