I am glad that I could help somehow. I had the issue with a wifi provided by a
Ubiquity AaccessPoint. I am pretty sure that there was no update on that in the
meantime as it was a new install and configuration (however I am not the admin
on that net and I have no details).
In the meantime I got
In my case I was able to solve the problem by changing some settings:
Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
* Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
* No certificate is required: Checked
PEAP version: Automatic
* Inner authentication: MSCHAPv2
Now I am not sure, if I am simply not affected by the bug and
I wanted to try the
update-crypto-policies --set LEGACY
but I am using Ubuntu 18.04.1 and I could not find an equivalent command.

Dell Precision 7520, I also cannot connect to WPA2/PEAP WIFI. Here are

no, I am not compiling the kernel on my own, I am using Ubuntu 12.04
with the prepared quantal-Kernel.
I tried the new kernel now with interesting results:
Sound is still crippled, but a little less than before maybe. However, as soon
as I start sound recorder and hit the record butto

I had similar issues - currently on kernel 3.4.0-030400-generic (got

then (a few days).
The only reason I did not use a higher kernel is because of the higher
kernel numbers do not work with the current vmware player which I ne

I can see that 0.20.2 should be the most current. Switched to main server in
synaptic but still no update.

Tried to burn a few photos to a CD - After burning finished Brasero
stops responding.
Tried two times and at first attempt CD was even corrupt (could not be
mounted).

When resizing the Firefox application window close to full screen, on
next start it gets displayed maximized automatically. Double-clicking
the top menu bar to unmaximize brings unminimized Firefox with missing
window title bar.

I tried now the brand new Oneiric Beta and here I did not have the issue
