[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1764127] [NEW] frequent crashes during boot on Ryzen 3 2200G

Public bug reported: Most of the time when booting Ubuntu 18.04 (beta) on my recently bought Ryzen 3 2200 G (Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MS-7A34/B350 PC MATE (MS-7A34), BIOS A.C0 03/08/2018) computer it crashes. Sometimes it boots OK and I do not encounter (major) problems (see below).
